The doctors here have all been excellent in my experience, however the booking system and receptionists leave an awful lot to be desired. It's incredibly frustrating to turn up at eight am and take a number only to find you're already fourteenth in the queue and will likely be sitting around for more than two hours. This is not practical for someone with a tight working schedule, buy the only alternative is to book an appointment which means waiting three weeks.

The appointment system actively prevents me from visiting clinic. The only way to see a doctor is to queue up before 8am to take a ticket. Then to wait until 9am when they open to be put into a queue of others. I've turned up at 08:20 before only to be seen at 10:30. It's not an efficient use of my time to be sat around waiting for doctors, I have to work too. I turn up to appointments, indeed I make appointments specifically because I want to see a doctor. This surgery really doesn't want patients.

Doctors seem to care about your symptoms. I never feel rushed or that I am not listened to. The reception team are fantastic (not at all rude, like in other surgeries.) The surgery is clean every time I go to see a doctor. This is the best surgery I ever been on the books with. They are a great team ! Unfortunately my Dr has left

Got to the walkin nice and early, took a number, 2 hours later I enquired as to the delay and was told that i had been missed from the list and that there was another 3 people in front of me. This has happened a few times before and is extreemly disappointing for an otherwise good practice. Whole mornings wasted while trying to keep a baby and toddler happy at the same time

It's impossible sometimes to get in contact with someone over the phone. I rang several times after 3pm and no answer, I even left a voicemail but no one ever responded to it. Went to the Walk in the next day and the receptionist was incredibly rude, she gave me lots of attitude and the way she spoke to me was horrible. She demanded that I tell her what was wrong with me, she then spoke down to me condesendingly saying that they need to know so they can book me in with a nurse if possible. (They used to have a list with what a nurse could help with but what I was going through wasn't on there) I said I would like to see a doctor, she then asked me to write it down but I said no. She then sighed and said the morning walk in is for emergencies only. I told her I got sent home from work yesterday I'll and then again she asked what was wrong with me. I said I would rather not say and she finally booked me in. I do not expect to get the 3rd degree from a receptionist who is trying to be a nosy Parker. In no scenario am I ever going to say what's wrong with me to a person over the reception desk where it's not in a confidential environment. I will not let other patients or non medically trained staff be privy to my personal problems.
